Bulk Discounts
Save on total hire costs when booking more than one room:
Save 5% by hiring two rooms in the same booking, eg:
main hall + meeting room 1

meeting room 1 + meeting room 2 (either as separate rooms or conjoined)

Long-term Series Discount
If you would like to book one or more facilities for a non-commercial activity on at least 4 occasions spread regularly over a period of time, we can offer a discount of 10% on the total hirable value.
To be eligible, your booking must comprise a series of at least 4 or more separate hire periods in a regular pattern. By a regular pattern, we mean that you hire the same facility (or combination of facilities) at the same time of day, on the same day of the week (or month), for the same duration, in a reliably repeating pattern. The frequency may be hourly, daily, weekly, fortnightly, every new/quarter/full moon, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or at some other similarly regular interval.
Also, a key element is that you pay the initial reservation fee for the whole series when making the booking. This reserves the requested facility for the whole series. You may then secure your booking for each episode within the series separately, paying the balance of the applicable fees prior to each confirmation deadline. You will also need to contribute the damages deposit but just once as the same deposit will apply across the whole series. If any damages occur and are met from the deposit, the balance will need to be topped up.
Booking Fees
To secure a booking, you will need to pay the booking fee, in full, by the booking deadline. The fee comprises the following three elements>
Reservation Fee

To reserve your chosen facility/facilities, you can pay a reservation fee of just 10% of the applicable hire value. This is not refundable and you will need to pay the balance prior to the confirmation deadline to secure your booking.
Booking Deposit
90% of hire value
potentially refundable
To secure your reservation, you will need to pay the balance of the hire value by the confirmation deadline. If you pay this either when you first make your booking, or later, it will act as a deposit and is refundable should you cancel your booking in writing prior to the confirmation deadline. It is not refundable, should you cancel after the confirmation deadline.
Booking Deadline
You will be informed of the precise time of the booking deadline when you initiate a booking. It will be no less than 7 days prior to the start of your intended booking. Provided you have paid the booking fee in full by this date and time, your booking will be confirmed and you will be notified via email.

Your booking fee will include a deposit to cover against any minor damages. Any balance due will be returned to you after your event has completed.

When you hire a room or rooms, the following services are included as standard:
Car Parking
We have a number of parking spaces in our car park. These are offered (subject to availability) free of charge to you and your guests.
Toilets
Access to all the toilets. There are single-sex lavatories as well as a unisex toilet and a separate baby room cubicle. See accessibility for more.
Access
With your booking comes the right of access to the communal parts of the building, such as the main vestibule, and toilets, and exclusive access to the facilities you hired, for the duration of the hire period only. See access arrangements for more
A minimum number of tables and chairs. You may find these:

You welcome to arrange them as you wish and return them as you found them afterwards.

Cleaning
You have a right to expect to find the facilities you booked in a hire-able state and a responsibility to leave them in the same hirable condition.

You can order more tables/chairs to suit your needs. Please request 2 weeks in advance.
Furniture Arrangement
If you are unable to set-up, re-arrange and/or put away the furniture to return the room to a hirable state, let us do this for you.
Wifi
Wifi is available at the hall, please let us know when you book and we will provide login details.
Communal Kitchen

Booking Details
Please note that:
hire charges are expressed as hourly rates.
the minimum period of hire for room facilities is 90 minutes.
you may hire each room for longer than the minimum, in successive increments of 30 minutes.
you will be charged at half the relevant hourly rate for each period of 30 minutes, or any part thereof, that you book.
you do not have right of access to the facility until your booking starts and you must vacate the facility by the time your booking ends, at risk of a financial penalty. Please ensure you book sufficient time to set the room and furniture up fully before your activity is due to start, and to restore the room back to its default state after your activity will end.
each booking must be for a single continuous period of time, eg: if you wish to use the hall for 90 minutes one morning, leave the room unoccupied for few hours and then come back again later, you have two options:
make two separate bookings, clearing away your things and restoring the hall to its default state each time
make one booking for the whole period.
each booking should begin and end on the same calendar day and within normal business hours.
If required, you may request an extension, to hire this facility beyond the normal finishing time on a Friday or Saturday evening. Please contact us to discuss this prior to making your booking and note that whilst all such requests will be considered they may not be accepted and if approved additional rate(s) may apply.
You may book a facility up to 2 years in advance and no later than 8 days prior to the intended data of your activity.
To secure a booking you must have paid all monies due prior to a confirmation deadline at least 7 clear days prior to the start of the hire period. This includes both the hire fee and a (refundable) damages deposit of £100.
The hire fee may be paid in full when making the booking. Alternatively, you may reserve a facility by paying a reservation fee equivalent to 10% of the total hire value, and the balance at another time prior to the confirmation deadline.
You may cancel a reservation or booking at any time. Cancellations prior to the confirmation deadline will result in a forfeit of the reservation fee.. Cancellations after the deadline will result in the refund of the damages deposit only.
Please also note that the above list is intended as a user-friendly summary of some of the key obligations of the terms of conditions of hire. If there are any points of difference, the terms and conditions take precedence.
