Block Bookings
Block bookings are intended for larger-scale activities requiring significant set-up and/or pack down and offer exclusive access for the duration of the booking.
A block booking enables set-up and/or pack-down to be undertaken on a day different to the main activity. It ensures that decorations, banners, tableware, etc can be left in situ (at your own risk) but with confidence that no-one else can enter the building during the period of your block booking. This is intended to be especially useful for activities ending late at night, enabling the clear-up to take place the following morning/day. Examples of such activities include a wedding reception, dinner, dance or party.
it is important to note, however, that despite a booking lasting one or more days, the main activity itself is still restricted to our normal business hours. All attendees are required to depart the premises shortly after (ie within 15 minutes) the end of normal operating hours..
If you require your activity to start earlier and/or continue for longer than our normal hours of operation, you will need to request an extension of up to 2 hours. I
A block booking may commence on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday only and may last for 1, 2 or 3 consecutive days, provided that it ends no later than 10:00pm on the Sunday.
Block bookings are charged per day where ‘day’ means the normal operating hours of the relevant day:
Fri & Sat: 08:00 - 23:59
Sun: 10:00-21:59
Up to 12 weeks in advance, Block Bookings may override other bookings that are provisionally scheduled to take place on the relevant days. Block Bookings that do not affect any pre-existing bookings may be made up to 6 weeks in advance.
