UK Government Restrictions
All bookings are subject to the UK Government’s coronavirus restrictions for England and Wales, which may be subject to change at any time, often at short notice.
Organisers of activities and events taking place on hall premises are responsible for ensuring that their activities are conducted in accordance with both the applicable requirements at the time their activity takes place and the mitigating actions set out below.
Booking Guarantee
All bookings affected by a change in UK covid guidelines are protected by our guarantee. If a change in circumstances affects whether your booking can go ahead, if you notify us in advance we can:
reschedule your booking to a similar time/slot at a later date (subject to availability)
cancel the booking and refund your fee
No Liability
This global pandemic is caused by an invisible, highly infectious and insidious virus, often spread by asymptomatic carriers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Trust accepts no liability for inconvenience, loss or damage alleged to have been caused by catching the virus on our premises. We require all organisers of activities and attendees to follow the mitigating actions set out below.
Mitigating Actions
The ever-changing/mutating nature of the virus means that one can never be ‘safe’ from infection, even if vaccinated. The following mitigating actions will reduce the risk to reasonable levels in most instances, and are generally deemed to be good practice even when not actually required by government restrictions.
Beforehand
When planning your activity, please consider: the likely number of attendees and the impact of 2m social-distancing on room capacity. Book a suitable venue accordingly
Covid Passport
You are encouraged to consider whether, given your intended audience, it would be appropriate to require your attendees to provide evidence they are of low-risk if not entirely virus free, for example:
- they have recently received two vaccines within the last 6 months
- have tested negative twice: once within the last fortnight and once within the previous 48 hours
- have quarantined for at least 14 days following a positive covid test

You are encouraged to open any windows to help the circulation of fresh air andlessen the accumulation of infectious particles. Please remember to close any windows you have opened at the end of your activity.Register
It is recommended and thoroughly good practice to take and keep a register of attendees for (fire) safety reasons anyway, and even more so during a pandemic when this can be used to help trace suspected infections. At the End of Your Activity

" place any paper towels, used face-masks, cloths, gloves in a bag, seal it and dispose of it in a sanitary manner
keep hold of your register of attendees and store in a safe place for future reference
